Get wild, get active with discounted Paddle Boarding at Willowgate

A couple of weeks ago Mi Rewards members got to enjoy a discount on Boating on the Tay. A chance to enjoy the golden trees, the tranquil scenery, and the wildlife of the Tay in Autumn. Well, this week you can enjoy all of this while getting up close and personal with nature. Paddle Boarding is a wild activity that anyone over 10 years can enjoy. All thanks to our partners at The Willowgate Activity Centre.

What is Paddle Boarding?

You stand on a specially designed board and use a paddle to move around the river. It’s a fun, energetic way to get out on the water. What's more, it lets you get up close and personal with the river’s scenery and wildlife. It’s a very different experience to taking a boat out on the water.

Paddle Boarding at Willowgate would ordinarily cost you £25 per person. This includes equipment hire, wetsuit, safety gear, and supervision for a 1.5 hour session. However, the folks at Willowgate wanted to offer something special for Mi Rewards members, so they are giving you an end-of-season discount on bookings for two.

Instead of the usual £50 you’ll only pay £38 (that’s the equivalent of just £18 per person) and all the usual equipment and supervision is included. You will need to bring a few things yourself: a towel, shoes that you can get wet, something to put under your wetsuit, and the all important taste for adventure.

The nights are drawing in but you can still take this chance to get out there and get active. Shake off the cobwebs, jump on a board, and let Willowgate make you feel rewarded with their brilliant exclusive Mi Rewards offer.

This offer will be running for the next two weeks and is only open to Mi Rewards members.

Begg Shoes has had a wee Spruce up

Begg Shoes has had a little spring clean and by little we mean they’ve completely redecorated. (It’s definitely the season to spruce up, as we’ve just finished finding out about Giraffe Café’s renovations over on South Street.) We popped into Begg Shoes over at 24 Scott St, Perth to have a peek at their new […]

A makeover for the Giraffe

Giraffe Cafe in South Street is preparing for the spring/summer with a few changes. While most of us will do a couple of little household changes for our spring clean, Giraffe has stepped up their game quite a bit. There are structural changes, decorative changes, and even some tweaks to their menu on the horizon. […]

A few new good ‘points’ about 63 Tay Street

63 Tay Street is now entering its 13th year. This local, family-owned restaurant is described by chef proprietor Graeme Pallister as ‘eclectic Scottish’. Their food is expertly prepared to ensure that the (all local) ingredients speak for themselves. 63 Tay Street strongly value the honesty of this approach as it allows them to demonstrate just […]
