There are more gluten free restaurants in Perth Scotland than you might think…

It's not easy being gluten intolerant and you don't exactly want to explain all the details over lunch. At the end of the day, you just want to be able to relax with friends and family and enjoy a meal together without having to look at a list of ingredients. We've done our best to get a list together detailing a few options if you're looking for gluten free restaurants in Perth Scotland. We also welcome feedback on this list, so feel free to pop over to the Mi Rewards Facebook page and share your experiences there. The 'holy grail' of gluten free dining is a menu with clear indicators of what you can eat. This can take different forms but you should safely be able to order GF at any of the following establishments:

A light bite at Blend Coffee Lounge

Blend doesn't have a menu as such. However, you will find a large selection of GF options on hand, from pre-packaged GF cakes to more homemade GF options in their cake display. It can be harder to track down a savoury gluten-free option, however, if you fancy a hot drink and something sweet Blend definitely has you covered.

Something for every appetite at Breizh

Breizh has a great selection of gluten free options for big and small appetites listed plainly on their menu. They are one of a number of gluten free restaurants in Perth Scotland that give you a clear indication of what's safe to order. It's also worth noting that they're also accustomed to dealing with a variety of other dietary requirements throughout their menu. Simply let your server know what your requirements are and they'll give you options on what you can order. Click this link to find out more about the extra effort that Breizh puts in for those with dietary requirements.

Add a Bit of spice to your life

If you're new to a gluten free diet you may not know that a staple component of Indian cuisine is the use of gram flour, a naturally gluten-free flour which is nonetheless delicious. As a result, you may have more options when eating both Indian and Nepalese food than you realised.

Everest Inn

Everest offers a diverse range of Nepalese cuisine. If you haven't had Nepalese food before think Indian spice with some surprising little tweaks. They even offer a tasty (and affordable) lunchbox option. Please note that we still suggest checking which items are safe. Tough a large portion of the menu will be made using gluten free ingredients, it's always worth checking.

Tabla

Another restaurant which benefits from the gluten free nature of a lot of Indian cuisine. In this instance, you're in for a treat as chef Praveen Kumar puts his professional, fine-dining-orientated attention to detail into every dish.

Even gluten-intolerant diners can feel rewarded

It's not often that you get something back for gluten-free dining but now you can. Those points can be exchanged for Perth Vouchers redeemable in businesses throughout the city. If you aren't already a member pop over to the following link to sign up to Mi Rewards.
