Tomorrow (13th October) is 'Social Saturday'. In light of this Giraffe Cafe want to thank customers for supporting their ongoing social enterprise with some tasty wee offers. This weekend only you'll get 10% off on burgers and coffee and a tray bake for £4. If you haven't been down before it's a great chance to see what they're up to. They've got some great food on offer (veg grown locally in their own nursery) and a lovely selection of gift items (including, unsurprisingly, a good selection of giraffe-themed pieces).
Giraffe Cafe is a social enterprise aimed at supporting people in developing their skills and finding work. Their South Street Cafe has been trading since 2009. Their The Mill Street Cafe (outside the cinema) came along not long after; opening its doors in 2013. They are a fantastic organisation and we can't wait to tell you more about them in future posts.
